INDUSTRIAL PAINTING PROGRAM
The Minnesota Finishing Trades are excited to announce that we are accepting registrations for Introduction to Industrial Painting classes. Initial dates are September 20 , 21 and September 24 , 25. These two 16-hour classes ( 7am to 3:30 ) are offered as continuing education, with an emphasis on a basic orientation and introduction of sandblasting, coatings, and safety. These classes are intended to provide members and prospective members with a basic understanding of the type of skills needed in industrial painting. We are also pleased to announce a 16 hour Confined Space Certification course for October 1st and 2nd from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This course must be preregistered with the FTI, so please register with Todd DeFrance (651-379-9604) as soon as possible.
Additionally, we will be scheduling Abrasive Blasting Training classes and certification. We encourage members wanting to expand their skills into industrial painting to participate in these new courses. Interested members should contact Todd DeFrance (651-379-9604) for training dates.
